I remember hearing a talk from a doctor who told the story of a girl who had been blind since birth, waking up after having been in a lengthy operation, and explaining everything she was able “see” while outside of her body during the procedure.
She described perfectly what had visually gone on in that room when she was unconscious. She said it was a 360-degree visual perception, and she was completely astounded about all this, having never before seen anything in her entire life.
What she described is, seeing without using her body’s eyes.
