Flowers That Open the Hour
(A. Gwyllt/R. Nisbet)

Sometimes when searching for mornings we wait, holding our hearts
So long grows time
Flowers that open the hour relax, sensing all joy
At peace with time

Suddenly you regain
Past days of child’s-play in a field
Come with me to this land
Exchanging laughter with the sun

To grasp all the thoughts that were conceived
Making our lives something more
Than what’s coming in a waiting room

And so, we pass through the threshold of life, knowing our place
With all we find

Flowers that open the hour relax, sensing all joy
At peace with time

Sometimes when searching for mornings we wait, holding our hearts
So long grows time

Flowers that open the hour relax, sensing all joy
